Surface Protection Film- Marble Protective Film

Surface Protection Film

It's important to protect critical surfaces. Wouldn't it be nice if everything had a diamond-hard (or some other unobtainable) coating? No surface would be scratched, damaged or permanently stained.

Often, it is difficult to find the right protective film, one that is easy to apply and remove. We offer several versatile surface protection films that work well in a variety of industrial applications. And, because our protective films are not self-winding, but have a convenient release paper backing, our films can be cut to size in sheets or supplied on rolls.

Types of surface protection films

There are several types of surface protection films that are used to protect various types of surfaces from damage or contamination. Some common types of surface protection films include:

Clear film: This is a clear, thin film that is applied to a surface to protect it from scratches, dirt, and other types of damage. It is often used on screens, windows, and other types of transparent surfaces.

UV protection film: This film is used to protect surfaces from UV light and other types of radiation. It is often used on windows and other types of glass to reduce the amount of UV light that enters a building.

Anti-slip film: This film is used to provide a non-slip surface on floors, stairs, and other areas where people walk. It is often used in areas that are prone to becoming slippery, such as wet or oily floors.

Rust-inhibiting film: This film is used to protect metal surfaces from rust and corrosion. It is often used on vehicles, machinery, and other types of metal surfaces that are exposed to the elements.

ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection film: This film is used to protect electronic components and devices from damage due to electrostatic discharge. It is often used in the manufacturing and assembly of electronics.

Carpet Protection Film: A temporary adhesive film applied to carpets to protect them from dirt, spills, and damage during events, renovations, or moving.

Hard Surface Protection Film: This type of film is used on hard surfaces such as countertops, cabinets, and furniture to prevent scratches, stains, and other damage during construction or transportation.

Floor Protection Film: Floor protection films are used to shield floors, particularly during construction or renovation projects, to prevent damage from heavy foot traffic, equipment, or spills.

Window Protection Film: This film safeguards windows from scratches, paint splatters, and other debris during construction, painting, or renovation projects.

Stainless Steel Protection Film: Applied to stainless steel surfaces, such as appliances and equipment, to prevent scratches, fingerprints, and damage during transportation or installation.

Collision Wrap: Typically used by auto repair shops, collision wrap is a heavy-duty film that covers damaged vehicles temporarily to prevent further damage or exposure to the elements.

Countertop Protection Film: Similar to hard surface protection film, this is used specifically for countertops to shield them from potential damage during various stages of construction or renovation.

Cabinet Protection Film: Designed for protecting cabinets from scratches, scuffs, and dirt during transportation, installation, or construction.

Fiberglass Protection Film: Applied to fiberglass surfaces, such as boats or panels, to prevent scratches and damage during transport, storage, or assembly.

Protective Film for Plastic Surfaces: Used on plastic surfaces, such as acrylic panels or displays, to prevent scratches and damage during shipping, handling, or installation.

Aluminum Protection Film: This film is applied to aluminum surfaces to safeguard them from scratches, abrasions, and dirt during various processes.

Duct Protection Film: Used to cover ductwork and vents during construction or renovation to prevent debris, dust, and contaminants from entering the system.

Surface protection materials can also be customized with a variety of adhesions, thicknesses, colors, and unique properties such as antistatic, UV, laser resistant, and flame retardant. They can also be customized for specific surfaces to withstand specific manufacturing processes. All of our in-stock surface protection films have a thin paper release sheet, which allows us to convert this film into the form you need for direct application. However, we can also provide self-winding rolls without a liner upon request.
